Introduction

The five big changes to Travian: Rise of Alliances are:

  • The condition of an account on registration
  • The ability to donate resources for alliance bonuses
  • The way pushing protection works
  • The way defense points are calculated
  • The removal of the alchemist's cauldron

Based on Travian: Scattered Empire

Travian: Rise of Alliances is based on Travian: Scattered Empire, so artifact distribution, troop forwarding and troop merging are still part of the annual special. However, the alchemist's cauldron has been removed from the game.

Hero on 2x Travian: Rise of Alliances

While the hero didn't have any items nor adventures in Travian: Rise of Alliances, we’ve decided to enable them again for the double-speed servers starting mid-February based on the feedback from the community. This means that auctions will also be available again.

Quickstart

Once the player has registered, they will start with all resource fields at level 10 and six settlers. The player has enough CP to settle two more villages right at the start and they also don't need to build a residence or palace in their first village.
The settlers cannot be used to settle 9 croppers or 15 croppers. These can be taken once the player has settled their third village.

Alliance Bonuses

Players have the ability to contribute resources to the alliance to gain certain bonuses, like greater CP production, faster troop production, weapon and armor bonuses as well as a bonus on merchant capacity.
The amount of resources a player can donate is limited and resets on a daily basis. The player can spend Gold to triple the size of their donation while paying the same amount of resources. The daily limit the player has cannot be increased by spending Gold.

Pushing Protection

Since the quickstart means way more resources are in the game, we had to rethink pushing protection. The revised version works on a per-village basis and limits the amount of resources that can be stolen or transferred to 20% of the village's daily production.

Defense Point Calculation

The defense points for the top 10 defenders are usually granted to the defending village owner, even if most of the defending units are from different players. This has been changed so that the defense points are split among all defenders based on the defending units supplied.
