I've not played Travian for quite a while now & have started an account to see what has developed in game. The reliance on gold,not skill,has caused a massive loss of player numbers over the last few years & it seems to me this has now reached epidemic proportions!Features designed to promote new player retention have massively backfired & UK player numbers have nosedived tragically.Graphically,it looks awkward,designed to attract the pocket money out of teenagers,once they run out of the free gold,but few seem to stick with it.

Whilst this thread is on UK19(?!) & can track what's happening on this server it's also intended to open out a general discussion about travian & whether the most recent changes can rekindle Travian's dwindling fortunes.

Now let's see who's even contributing on the forums : p
