We're 6-7 weeks in now, friendships beginning to emerge in the run up to artefacts.
I've compiled some tables of various stats https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
The NE: http://www.gettertools.com/ts5.travi...G-Map/49706401
An early agreement between FOX and MFH all but guarantees them dominance in this quad, with a couple of stragglers from other alliances. Their attacking points and raiding score are a little under par of that of the other main alliances but top the tables when it comes to defence and average population, making up 50% of the top 20 players (60% including the small ~FOX U~). FOX seem to be content with more breathing space whilst most of MFH have opted to stay more central, giving this team great coverage come artefact day. Expecting them to pick up 3 Uniques along with the rest of their quad's.
The NW: http://www.gettertools.com/ts5.travi...-Map/254977912
Generally looks similar to the NE with a sizeable group in the centre of the quad with some others settling further out, then you get to RIPD with quite a worrying number in other quads and some shocking settling, still with little to no competition in the NW this team is looking promising with the highest average raiding score from week to week. Expecting 2 Uniques and the rest of the quad's artefacts to fall into their hands.
The SW: http://www.gettertools.com/ts5.travi...G-Map/84969391
The TE crew are looking pretty solid, with another fine spread across their quad and it's borders. This team are keeping up in every aspect, although one of the wings is either not winning any top10 medals or forgetting to put them up so we can't know if they're actually outraiding RIP. There are 3 other alliances who're predominantly in the SW which could prove to be a thorn in TE's side. Nonetheless I'm predicting they'll grab 2 Uniques along with the rest in the SW and about 2/5 of the ones in the SE.
The SE: http://www.gettertools.com/ts5.travi...-Map/217846780
SEA and their confed LW seem to be the only major presence in the SE, their raiding score appears to be impressive but it looks like they're really struggling for players, with only 63 at the time of writing I don't see them being a WW contender, with numbers dwindling I honestly don't expect them to be around much longer, either playing their own game or being absorbed by TE or another ally in the SW.
I hold the opinion there's not a server favourite at this point, assuming each quad has a Wonder (excluding the SE) it's anyone's game.
