Thought about doing something like this when I first saw "alchemists pot" random bonus rolling thing in the game and wanted to share my thoughts. However coincidently deleted the tab with my long as post in and couldn't be bothered to re-write it..
Anyway here is some information about the server if your considering trying it out, and I'd say for a good 2-3 more weeks its still going to be possible to join and be relevant. Not the best ofc some of the top accs are now super far ahead. But because of way the map works, starting late is less bad on this server to normals.
How does the map work?
Ok so its split into regions, each region gets an arti, alliance with most pop in that region *A Majority* ie >50% takes control of it. Can then activate the artefact using a treasury.
Not sure if you can activate multiple but would assume so, I think it costs 10g after initial free one per day, but haven't tested on this server.
Can only settle in regions that have the region next door to them annex, creating a sort of ripple out effect. Which is interesting because it means late starters aren't so far behind, just settle out and asides from res you can send your going to be at the same ISH as people who are playing since week 1.

Every day you get a free item.
Ranges from tiny res packets
to res bonus day, res bonus week
some gold
hero instant travel (might only work on adventures)
troops - very nice for early
instant troops (makes troops build faster..)
travian plus
adventure
and free upgrade to smithy
SO most of this seems like, eh whatever.
But if you buy gold, actually quite good to take some rolls on this.
IN theory the instant troops mean rolling loads and loads could make your army significantly bigger, but on ballance you'd get so much other crap not sure about that. None of this stuff can be sold.
So if you think something like "travian has just found more ways to let gold buyers rule the game and they are more powerfull" answer is yes.
BUT
Its not really that good, overall the game mechanics are the same, with the interesting twist.
There is now WW this server, the aim of the game is to smash people.

Titanium is best ally on server, it has a wing Titan S
Competition:
EFN and EFN wing
TIN and TIN wing
MF
And thats about it
Server has a some what disapointing demographic, there is a clear front runner and others looks... Well ok I guess would be a bad idea to say too much.
But certinatlly looks winner is some what decided or predictable..
