Turkey this Christmas?

I scanned around to see which was the busiest Travian domain and noticed Turkey had a lot of players.

Wanting loads of action, I signed up. I'm out of beginners protection now and ready to raid and attack until someone zeroes me.

Should be fun. :)


I've noticed that on the server gold can be bought in Euros or Turkish Lira, so being the inquisitive type I thought I'd see if they were the same amount.

Turns out they aren't, it is cheaper to buy gold in Turkish Lira than it is to buy it in Euros.


This again got my inquisitive juices going - are all the domains charging different amounts for the gold they sell?


I'll make a start and post the servers I've checked. If everyone does a couple of domains each I think we can build a table that shows what gold costs on the various domains around the world.


To make it equal, quote the price of 1600 gold in £, using currency converter. Here's my contribution -


China - £41.98

.com - £41.98

kingdoms uk - £32.88

Turkey - £36.74 (bought in Euros) or £28.78 (bought in Turkish Lira)


So, from my entirely inconclusive research it appears that this Christmas it should be Turkey.
