I'm pretty good at having some extremely noobish moments when playing travian and I felt we were lacking a s5 thread to share our idiotic travian moments.
To start it off I've recently had a mini project to steal a 50% wheat oasis for my 9c that has turned pretty embarrassing.
First off, after heavily scouting I sent my hero to attack with the stats set to resource production.
24 hours later and hero number 2 I rescout, set hero stats to fighting and run a battlesim before attacking. Don't ask me how but I somehow ran the sim for their village, not oasis.
A couple of days laying low later I breathed a sigh of relief that no one seemed to have noticed and sent out hero number 3... First attack success, sending more scouts to look for defence movements, 2nd attack sent, check reports and... Find out I'd sent hero to a village full of traps rather than oasis. < no longer a facepalm moment but head butt wall moment.
As the hero is trapped I'll have to put that story on hold for now but my noobish moments don't end there. My latest ones involve the 24/7 tt queue I've been working on that's had me religiously switching hero helmets from cp to cav time reduction before queueing troops and switching back. Only thing is, I just realised my hero isn't even in the village I've been queueing the troops.
